Herb's mother passed away today.You may all may remember Herb from all of the training sessions and seminars and help when FTD was the "Old Family" She passed away very peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loving family. She started their shop in Hinesville Ga in the 70's! .

'Brother Herb' was very instrumental in the development of SOOO many features in Advantage - more than you may realize. That's how I came to know him. He is a good friend - from the 'SOUTH" (insert southern accent here...).

My prayers are with him and his family on the passing of his Mom. The industry loses another old time florist.

as the Lord gathers up another kind and loving soul, we are reminded that our stay here is short, the time we spend, is the time we are ALL remembered for...
Herb, and Stacey...death is like a moving van.....you gather up all your special possessions, you place them in your heart, and you move them to the NEXT familiar and gentle place where are your loved ones.

I met Herb when the 'old' FTD bought Advantage and with Watha built it into a first class flowershop software solution. He was always quick to help florists learn the program, how to make their shop more profitable using it and with lots of other ideas and support. Owning a real florist use to be a family affair and he and his mother were just that. She designed until her mid 80's.
My prayers go out to Herb, Donna and their 2 boys. I believe the services are Saturday

sends prayers and sympathy your way Herb. Just went through it myself and the biggest comfort was hearing from friends.
