I just got a call from someone asking me to fill an order for Preferred Florist Network.
She said I was a member?
I told her that I had never heard of them before and don't know WHY they would have me as a member, as I'm new to the business and didn't sign up for any membership or pay any dues. She said it was a FREE membership.
I asked her the value of the order... and for a minute I was tempted, as it was a $90 total, but then she told me it was a 75/25 split and she wanted me to bill them....
Uhhhhh NOPE! Not to mention that it was in another town about 30 minutes from here.
The more I think about it... How does one come up with a $90 total? Most people, when asked what their budget is, don't say "Ummmmm You know, $90 is good..." I'm thinking it was probably $100 and SOMEBODY took $10 right off the top??????
Am I being too suspicious? Are they actually legit?
