:musical: The gift of my daughter... and 29 years after her arrival, sharing an
Elton John concert with her. What an awesome night... we rocked. :)

Mark it was a blast and then some. He sang old, not so old and brand new. The place was rockin'! He's a remarkable performer and has a great rapport with his audience. His voice is wonderful and has gotten richer with time.

Of course he has a special bond with this city as his partner went to University here and David's parents live in St. Thomas (just outside London).

Alana and I rocked ourselves silly and today I have little or no voice. :) That's a sign of a really great concert.

In a phrase, the man IS Captain Fantastic!

Ah! To spend such a time with one's daughter!

I am jealous V! Our local floral delivery company delivered the flowers to his dressing room. I think there were 9 arrangments in all. He got to see all the costumes and shoes and glasses! Too cool!

Oh well.....maybe another time.

Luc, he does love flowers. As for the costume changes, there were none. He was respelendant in a long suit coat with some kind of sparkled emblem on the back.

He entertained us all for dam n near 3 hours. :)

Connie, the great gift with having a daughter, is the older we get the more fun we have as friends and confidantes. Every moment is building more memories. I'm more grateful than I can say to have this person in my life... plus we laugh the back of our fronts off!

What a time you must of had!
You are truley blessed.
I will never forget the first concert my Mom took me to. Def Leopard! I am not so sure she enjoyed it as much as you enjoyed Sir Elton but she did it for me and I love her!:kuddle:

:) Your Mom is cool too. The one and only concert my Mom took me too was Liberace! Dear God...

You know, the concert was incredible and I do love Elton, but the impact and import for me, is the time spent rockin' with Alana. On the threshold of my death ( a long time from now if you please), the memory I will hold so dear will be this concert.

V, who is still singing Crocodile Rock!!!
