Does anyone know what the process is for dealing with a cybersquatter? Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it relatively easy to claim a domain name that is quite obviously being held for ransom?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Your only hope is if the domain name is a trademark that you have registered.

If someone with no obvious reason registers www.hefko.com and is selling ads for flower-related stuff on the domain, you might have a case.

I have a couple take-down notices from folks like Proflowers that I can send you to copy, if you like :)

Hmmm... and where di you get those I wonder?

Rhetorical question... :ssmoke  :yourock:

It's funny - some companies get upset when you create a website about how their product doesn't react well in sub-zero weather. At the very least, some lawyers get a bit richer :)

We had this same problem with whoisprivacyprotect.com. I can send you a copy of the cease and desist letter we sent to them. After struggling through the mess for months, this letter got our sites back within days - let me know if you want a copy.
