Happy after Easter everyone!

I am again looking for catchy sign phrases for ....
Secretary’s day! We are trying to attract more attention with our sign. We got into a bad habit of lending our sign space out.

Also do any of you have ideas you are willing to share about items that have sold particularly well for Secretary's Day in the past few years.

We seem to do best with ‘grab and go’s’ so I am particularly interested in those but I am open to any and all ideas.

Thank you for any help you can offer. Have a great week J

We don't have secretiaries day over here but i would be tempted to keep it simple like Boss but maybe say underneath,

Thank yours with flowers.... or Celebrate with flowers.....

Maybe with a from $20 or whatever your starting point is. This could be in a little bubble at the side?? And then a cartoon woman at a computer.

Hope this helps, good luck though Dee..

Secretaries Dary for us too.

I just bought some small dish gardens that we'll sell, starting at 15.99. We'll dress them up a bit with pencils or something. I haven't decided about fresh flower thingies yet.

Do secretaries even get their bosses coffee still as part of the job??

Advice from my brother...

My brother (an engineer and manager with a large aircraft company) told me they don't have secretaries anymore. I think Administrative Professionals' Day is the way to go, even though it won't fit on signs.

That PC title killed Secretaries Day, IMHO.

I'm going to ask my customers!!

I think this is a good one to blog about, and ask customers to respond and tell us what they think it should be called!!

I'm onto it skippy....

Always be nice to secretaries.
They are the real gatekeepers in the
world.” Anthony J. D’Angelo

The above quote is going on our posters and e-blasts.

We're doing our Secretaries Week window today with a desk, chair, computer, keyboard, secretaries day mug, etc. & white board background saying;

"Memo: SECRETARIES WEEK*
*(politically incorrect)

APRIL 20 - 25, 2009

We are on a corner with a stoplight but I know that they wouldn't have time to read Professional Administrative Assistants Week so if they want to know what the asterick is they will be able to read it from the sidewalk. We'll see if we're called on it.

Last time I tried to be "Politically Correct" and had "Professional Administrative Day/Week"...I had two people come in to apply for the position. :wallhead::wallhead:

Now it's "Secretaries Week" on the sandwich board. It's just easier that way. As far as I know, we haven't offended anyone yet.
