ProFlowers Awarded 'Best Value'?

Proflowers.com's home page now says "Awarded 'Best Value' by the Wall Street Journal - 2/3/06".

Did anyone see the article? I'm very curious as to the context of the award.

No big deal

The article was the normal Valentine's Day comparison of direct shipped flowers. As to some award, there was none.

The only interesting thing about the article was that FTD was only mentioned once and it was as a footnote to the WalMart flowers. They said that you could buy flowers through WalMart for same day delivery since they were associated with FTD.

The Wall Street Journal never even used FTD in the comparison. Sad that the supposed best known flower Brand is not even considered.

Typical spin... Not that this article has much merit, but if Mike S. @ FTD is so bent on cheap flowers and low price points, his efforts are falling on deaf ears. When will he learn that he is cheapening the "brand", logo and any FTD florist along with it? Really sad...my black & gold are fading bit by bit.....

(and, YES, it' ALL has to do with top management in Downers Grove.)
