If you go to Proflowers.com and click by the clock "need today" it will take you to a page which is all Teleflora arrangements. I've checked this out, verified it's true and confirmed the arrangements are Teleflora's.
So it begs the question about the their truth in advertising these days!! Sure, they may not deliver flowers in a box, but they certainly have been stealing business away from their member florists. I've also had it confirmed from a good friend that when she called Teleflora to question them about this and complained the poor man answering the phone said he didn't know anything about it. But she took him to the website and walked him through the arrangements!! Bet that "egg on his face' didn't feel so comfortable then !! Oh yea, she got some free months of membership to keep her happy.
It never ceases to amaze me the scummy levels these companies will go to to build their business. All the more reason why florists need to concentrate on their OWN websites, build their OWN customer bases and deliver their OWN unique style of arrangements and forget about feeding the hungry WS with their dollars.
Just thought you'd like to know... for some reason I'm feeling pretty stupid for not knowing this before now. Guess us old dogs can still learn new things. Makes me ask the question... what's BloomNet and FTD up to these days ?
