So I have heard about prom flower tatoos a few times. Has anyone done any of these and have pictures? It is my impression that they are like a mini corsage or single flower glued on a piece of sticky bandaid and worn on the shoulder, arm, ankle etc. I am so curious about them.....:bouncy:

Yes, I have made them , but not for customers.
I made them for a wedding expo a few years ago. I made 2 of our sexy designers wear them on their backs. How unbelievable sexy would flower tatoos look on a beautiful bride with a sexy backless dress?

But I don't have any pics.

I made them on square bandaids. But I've been think that maybe they could be made with the u glu dashes.... I haven't tried it yet though.

I use the bandaids........the small ROUND ones. Yes, I have made them and SOLD THEM. I don't have any pics, but, here are a couple off google. Just glue the florals to the bandaid and stick the bandaid to the skin.

Here's a shot of one I made for Flowers& Magazine about 10 years or so ago. The corsage was designed on a medium size cloth band-aid and the hair accessory was classically taped & wired.

Seeexxxxyyyy!! Love it!

Hijack briefly.

Cathy, the bridal bouquets on facebook, this flower tattoo, and a lot of your other gorgeous designs fairly drip with hanging amaranthus. I am SO jealous. Where do you source it, is it locally growing all year? We have it for a very short period of time in early fall.

Christi. I've never been able to actually sell them although I've offered them for years. I learned to do them on the round band-aid for just single flowers glued on. They just don't seem to want to have a band-aid on. Maybe I'll start wearing some of those, quite honestly I never have. I don't want to wear a band-aid either! lol

Don't call them band-aids. Specially made body flower adhesives...

bare shoulder body flower.jpgThis was made on a bandaid blow out patch and is for the rounded part of a shoulder kind of towards the back...I don't have a picture of the girls wearing them nor do I know how they worked out, sadly the quincera got cancelled because the young lady got very ill...but she has recovered and just had a baby girl...crazy little family that one was....

Thanks! We can pretty much get it year-round, although the best season is summer-fall. It literally grows like a weed here.

IMO the girls love the idea, but they're difficult to wear. You cannot ride in a car with the one I posted above. It will get smashed. Similarly, ones worn on the front shoulder can get crushed with seat belts. They're best put on once the young lady is AT an event.

Hey- I want to mention that If you do sell these you should include an alcohol wipe packet so the area for the tattoo to be applied can be cleaned. Be sure to tell them to let the area dry before applying the tattoo. If the girl has lotion on- which most girls do- it wont stick so well unless the area is cleaned first.
