Every year we get at least one girl come in either in tears or almost in tears asking us if we can do a corsage last minute for her prom because she was so disappointed with the one she ordered from another shop in town.

This year it happened this past weekend which was our first prom. She came in with her mom. They seemed very embarrassed and were looking for a corsage because they were very disappointed with the one they ordered from another shop here in town.

I was busy elsewhere in the shop and didn't see the other corsage (darn) but my staff said it was not a pretty sight. My girls took very good care of her, she was smiling and laughing when she left (she was coming back to pick it up) My girls sold her one of our many keepsake bracelets with bling and the whole nine yards, she ended up spending a little over $50 with us.

When she came back to pick it up she was very very happy. Lots of smiles! Yeah!!
These are my favorite prom stories every year.

Good job!

Here's my favorite for this week (My proms hav been going on since March 13th this week they will finally be over)
Had a mom come into the shop today to show me a Professional picture of her son and his date. I guess they take lots of shots now at the prom...But the best art was- They opted to get "a close up" of her corsage. Not the boy, Not the girl.. The corsage I made. Sweet! YEAH BABY!! But then for the mom to come in and show me how "perfect" (her words not mine) it was...total icing.

no, I just thanked her for taking the time to come in, and then told her we do good everyday work as well! She said "I know!". They looked like the pics that they take at the prom, you know, glorified school pics. Plus I already had a pic of it anyway.
