Proms have not been going on for that long in the UK and we always say that ideas like that have come over the pond but on a smaller scale.

When i left school we had a school disco, which i couldnt even be bothered to go..

Anyway, we now have the bridal shops doing the big dresses, girls going in limos and having more beauty treatments than brides etc etc but no corsage work!! At the least i think i have only ever had one job, possilby two.

This year i want to try and do some marketing and the first thing is an information page on my site. I was going to do one called "proms USA Style" to try and get them to catch on.

Here is where you guys come in... Would anyone be so kind to let me use some pics just for my info page, i would not take credit - in fact i would mention how great the florist was, i just want to show examples of how great flowers compliment their dresses.

I could do it myself but it would just be pictures of arms and i have seen pics over the sites with girls in dresses etc... i thought this might inspire them more. I would also use these on facebook to try to get word out.

Would anyone be willing to help?? No worries if you would rather not, i completely understand!!

Hey Paula, saw your prom post on facebook, I just have to know what does "we just got pissed on the big field and went toppers" mean in the uk? MY thoughts are not exactly clean lol

Haha, getting pissed means getting drunk, the big field is just that (usually filled with everyone who has just left school) and toppers was a nightclub from years ago.

Incidentally that girl is my cousin, we finish school at 16 over here and she was so into her books that there is no way she would have done any of the above lol... just wishful thinking on her part!!

I didn't do any of that, honest!! I was a good girl.

I think the point is that when we were young literally we did not have anything like prom (that was what you seen on the movies!!).

I'm sure you were totally innocent (not) . I was thinking it's either drinking topless on the football field or angry teenagers cow tipping in the farm fields.
 
Jennifer you have a terrible terrible mind ;)

I wouldnt go near a cow lol... too scared!! Plus we are in a town so not many cows knocking about to tip lol..
