I'm glad you asked this Joe because I was thinking the same thing. I've never had a post pulled in two years until today, just found it very, very strange and wondered what the reasoning might have been so I can avoid it in the future.

Generally a post would get pulled if it were slanderous, or a direct attack on someone, with the offending party receiving either a warning or a time out in the penalty box.

We try to error on the side of caution, and try to take a hands off approach to moderation, without being the police.

Regarding the posts you are talking about, can you point me to the thread in question, as I have not, and I know Cathy has not removed anything in the last good while. Our web host moved FlowerChat to a new server in the last few days, and it seems we may have misplaced a few things.

I'm wondering if the posts in question, were lost while they were doing some changes or backups or something?

WE have NOT.....

"pulled" any posts voluntarily.
There WAS a reference to "lost" posts a couple of weeks ago, when the servers were being switched, that host FlowerChat, but, I am unaware of which thread/post you are referring to??
Candidly, it's very rare for ANY of us to even CONSIDER such an action, and even MORE rare to actually DO such a thing, unless there are blatant racial or otherwise personal attacks

Oooh, whadya say? I've seen some pretty nasty unprofessional posts, and I think they shoulld all stay, as testament to the speaker.

Update... I heard from Ryan, and he too had nothing to do with the missing posts...

Seems that FC has caught a cold...

Ryan is going to move FC to it's own specific server to see if we can get a handle on this issue.

Patience folks...please, as we make the move.

Lol, I didn't really say anything. Someone said that they were treated unpleasantly and I just pointed out that every single one of their posts were answered with helpful replies. I was sure that it was a glitch...but just wanted to confirm my thoughts.
