I have never worked with these before, and have a bride who is very personally important to me who wants to use them for her bouquet and for her mothers' corsages. White. Anything special you need to do with these and how do the hold up? My wholesaler says they come 10 to a bunch for $7.50.

I'm in Texas so it's a little hotter here and things are different. What time of year is your brides wedding? First of all, make sure it will be available. I trim the stems and clean up the bottom tips and keep them cool until the day befor I need them. Because it is so warm down here, they blow open really fast. I let them stand out a day before I'm doing my hand work and put them back in the cooler that night. Afther I've put together the corsages and bouts, I spray them with a clear crowning floral mist let them dry, pack them and keep them cool until delivery. They are a lovely flower.

It is March 21 in Nebraska...so weather should be above 50 degrees by then, maybe as high as 60s.

You should be fine by then, but I would sugest ordering a bunch and playing with them to see how they open for you. My flowers vary every year; last year my Ran never got larger than a golf ball and this year some of the heads are as large as a big fat lemon. good luck.

Thanks so much. It is odd to me that after 7 years in business, there is a flower I haven't ever worked with in design. I need to get out more. :)

They are great to use!! I will attach a couple of pictures.

Very easy in a holder, just put chenille up the stems and have a piece of chenille longer than stem to secure to holder.

Just remeber that their stems are soft so I usually tuck them in a bouquet!!!

Have fun!!

I love ranunculus. I tuck them into a bouquet, never around the outside edge, like Karen said, so the fragile stems are bolstered by the other flowers.

Ranunculas are a beautiful product. They last well for me. Very pretty! They do have some issues with opening up sometimes. The last batch I got didn't open hardly at all, which was a bit disappointing. I did put them in the cooler alot quicker this time however. I like when they are nice and big and prefer to leave them out to open to the point I want them, then put them in the cooler. I know some may disagree, but I haven't had any issues with them going bad. I am sure I just jinxed myself. :) Good luck!
