I see it's....

been delayed again because of a malfunctioning antique alternator for the old plane!!
I DO INDEED understand why human nature wants to prove that it CAN do phenomenal achievements, BUT, I DON'T understand why the burning desire to try and endanger one's life, with equipment SO OLD, that it's unavailable parts stream puts all the odds AGAINST these flyers!!
It was ONE thing, to achieve this flight, at a time when these planes were fairly plentiful...it's another, when some farmer tries to shoot this barnstorming buzzer out of the sky, and blows a hole in it's paper fuselage!

I am waiting for the re-creation of "Wrong Way" Corrigan's flight. :boggles:
hmm I think that was my "Uncle Charles" Corrigan... he finally landed in God's Country and couldn't find his way out :hammer:

Fossett is quite the adventurer.....hope they have fair skies and following winds..... or is it fair skies and "tail winds"?????
