Just to let you folks know that, the KING KONG movie was great!

The SPECIAL EFFECTS are absolutely AMAZING and even though it's 3 hours long, not a minute goes by where you are not glued to the screen.

On another note, the price per ticket is $10 times 2 for a total of $20 for the LOVELY LINDA and I.

What kills mee though, is their prices on soda and popcorn.

For a medium size in both categories, they are now getting $4 for each item each or a total of $16.00 plus tax.

Throw in a box of candy, and you're at $20 + $20 for a total of $40.00 for a couple to see a movie.

And, I DID NOT WITNESS ANYONE at the counter complaining about the prices.

My daughter and I went to the movies on Christmas day... 19.50 for two, 12.01 for one bag of small popcorn, no butter and two bottles of water. Thank God the movie (Narnia) was great, or I would have been harbouring a lot of resentment about now!

My ass fell asleep. 3 1/2 hour movie.. GOD!! The first 45 minuts was boring overdone character development, but the rest was as great as Toto says. We went to see Narnia last night and it was sold out so we walked the mall for a bit and came home.

Saw Narnia yesterday. The first show we tried to see was sold out so we ate and shoppped and took in the next viewing. Very enjoyable and suitable for the entire family. We all give it big thumbs up.

Haven't seen either of those two films yet, so it's great to hear the comments. The hubby and I are thinking of going to see Narnia on Thursday night and King Kong on Friday.
