Simple solution is not to react to any comments or discussions happening about the subject.

I think is a healthy discussion. You should know the opposing point of view.
You can't stick your head in the sand and pretend they are not there. That's how they keep gaining on you.

I am not condoning a healthy discussion. I am just reminding some people that sometime those healthy discussion can be dangerous to your health.
Sometime a step backward or breather is better to take than getting into a healthy discussion.
