Nice I like it....but too much God talk for much of the US...I know you are in the Bible belt, not to mention a practicing and devout Christian, and that flies there but you cannot peddle that stuff in Boston and NY without some eyes being rolled..

I am assuming of course, you are trying to come up with a national flower slogan or mantra...and we all know whta happens when we assume..

Lori, not trying to come up with anything. Just speaking my heart....

As to folks rolling their eyes, yes it happens here too, Michigan is not really in the "Bible belt" and some take my stances personally.

would someone explain what the bible belt is? Over here i thought most americans were religious. In the Uk, there are religious people but they dont seem to be as open about it. Also, i would say that religion was definately on the decline over here too. I am pretty personal about my beliefs but that is probably more about the culture i live in and have been brought up in. :)

I think the bible belt might mean defferent things to defferent people. I am up here in New England and we have loosen up quite a bit from the deep South which I view as bible belt country. I have a brother who has lived in that area for 30 years and let just say religion is a topic I will not bring up with him for sake of family harmony.

On this same track of thinking.......slogans, mottos, and things..........There was an old poster one time........I wish I could snag a copy of it.......I think FTD had it - but it featured the slogan "The hands of a designer form Flowers into Art" and the illustration was two hands painted like A Bird of Paradise (Strelitizia) bloom.

If anyone remembers that poster or knows of a source, I'd love a copy of one for my work.
