Remembrance Day

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th Month.

Lest we forget.

My shop is right accross the road from the RSL. - ( returned services league) so I am lucky enough to be able to witness the service.

The link is to a classic song performed by Australian Band " Redgum" This song I guess has become a sort of Vetrans anthem. - They always play it straight after the service - I know it gives me goosebumbs and I am sure it does to many others too.

As a past president of an American Legion Auxiliary, 11/11 at 11:00 will always be special...and the reason passed on to my grandchildren whose Mom is a Navy vet.......
