Rene van Rems AIFD is coming to Maine. Our Fall Design Show will feature Rene as well as vignettes for the holidays designed by area shops featuring Maine Master Floral Designers. Set aside the dates now...October 25th - workshops, business round table discussion. October 26th - Design Show with Rene. Rene will take you on a tour of the latest industry and floral trends, environmental green design elements, merchandising and sales. Holiday vignettes will be on display and commentated by Rene. Monday October 27th, Rene will present "The Business of Creativity" workshop. The workshop for weddings will showcase design styles and techniques. Rene will show you how to make stunning hand tied bouquets in less than 10 minutes. Workshop spaces are limited. Location is the Bangor Motor Inn, Hogan Road, Bangor Maine. Rene' presents a wonderful show. All you florists in that area need to take advantage of his teaching.

He is the ultimate showman. He is the most impressive speaker I have see in 22 years in this biz. Enjoy!
 
I just bought one of the AIFD DVDs from the last symposium that featured Renee and Matt Wood, was well worth it and he was very entertaining as well as informative, hope he comes to our area sometime! you guys are lucky!
 
I rarely buy books and things at these shows because of the cost... I made an exception in Rene's case. He presents wonderfully and while there are those who say you can't sell what he may make, my answer is, perhaps not, but you can sell from the inspiration he gives.

I just saw Rene yesterday at a meeting. Have a great time, learn lots, & take some $$$ to buy his book (if you haven't already!)
