I have been on numerous forums of all types, and there are some that have "Restricted Areas", i.e., (in FC's case) Retail Store Owners only, Employees Only, Wire Service Reps/Emps only, Wholesalers only, etc etc. This would allow some discussions/opinions that may otherwise be kept withheld due to not wanting everyone to be privy to the type of information. Some examples would be 'employee wages', 'my boss is a jerk', 'how do you handle a shop that does this..', etc.

It would allow open discussion without fear of retaliation. I myself have held back not knowing if my employee may be reading, or a wire service rep, or a wholesaler. There are also some questions people may want to ask, but don't feel comfortable asking in front of the whole industry.

What's your opinion, and do you think it would be a benefit to the overall forum?

Sounds like it would add more drama......not a big fan of drama. If you got something to say say it if it needs to be more private PM just my 2 cents:smoke:icon15

Go to the top of your screen, click on "community" and "social groups". There is a group there for Brick & Mortar flowershop owners. It is restricted to the members of that group only.

This topic has come up before and whilst there are some for it, there are certainly some against it.

I think that a lot of people wont even post their opinion on it for fear of an argument from others.
