I am active in floral and garden design and work professionally in both fields. I have an insatiable appetite for experiencing new and old techniques, experimenting with new and familiar material, re-interpreting classic design from many cultures and times, learning more about the history and development of design in flower and garden application, the use of flowers and gardens in spirituality (which I define as the search for life and vitality), and traveling to see the work of others whether it be in shows or museum records (paintings, scrolls, photography, etc.).
