I will be attending FTD road show this weekend in Boston. Anybody else coming?

Looks like it is only open to FTD members...

I would love to go to the saturday night wedding marketing program...

Hi David,

I hope you enjoyed attending the Road Show. I met so many fun and intelligent florists while I was there. We had a great time in the hands-on session with sympathy work. The weather was also a nice change from South Florida.
Take care and all the best for a profitable season,
John Klingel AIFD, FTD Education Team
Director of the South Florida Center for Floral Studies

I, too attended the Boston Road Show - it was marvelous. The food was fabulous, the city was fun, the information I received invaluable. To all those florists that have not signed up - you are missing out on an incredible opportunity. I spoke with several shops in recent weeks that chose not to attend because of the tight economy - and that is the exact reason you should go.

I enjoyed the sympathy class, John and look forward to seeing you in February at NEFE.

For $60.00 per person the cost was well worth it. That included lunch Saturday. Appetizers, Open Bar and Saturday night Dinner. Dinner was a combo of Steak and Chicken. Buffet breakfast on Sunday.
What great speakers. Bob Neegan on Marketing, Jeff Corbin on profitable weddings. Flower Chats John Klingel with everyday design ideas. Rick Canale spoke on his SAF marketing of the year award.
One on one training with a mercury tech was available. One on one training with FOL web sites department. Mercury seminars. Lots of FTD
staff on hand to ask questions. I sat next to Jon Burney Saturday night at dinner. He is Vice-President General Counsel & Secretary of FTD.
Lots of opportunity's to network with fellow florists. A hug from Erlene (priceless) Representative for Esmeralda and Hosa. Had a great time.
I would make it a point to attend. I had hoped to see the new owner of FTD. He wasn't there. I was told management met with him and he has lots of marketing ideas.
