Need help tracking down a rose that is the color of "dusty rose." (I know, who uses that term...) MIL brought in very dark picture of a rose bouquet and kept telling me the color is dusty rose. So I am running with that description. Need help from FC'ers. Any rose suggestions? Oh, here's the kicker. Bride can't stand roses but this is her focal flower -- MIL is paying the tab... :hammer:

Love charming unique but it's too crisp - not "musty' enough if you know what I mean. The bride gave me a paint chip and her pink is very muted, sort of dirty looking.

Oh, she's one of those brides.... If that's the case, I'd send her to Sierra Flower Finder herself and have her pick the three that closest match what she is thinking. It will save you time and sanity. Besides, if she picks the wrong one, that's her fault, not yours.

Charming was what I was thinking of too .... there is a spray rose that is a dirty antiquey pink. I think it was something "follies" like cherry follies, but not cherry ..... I only had it once, so I wouldn't necessarily be offering it.

Magic Mocha, may also be too pink, but it's got that dirty variegated look .....

Good luck!

If it is that pic that is flaoting around those are that of livia, also could be,,maltese, roses.I will post more for you later tonight when , I get back,,

Has anyone tried Peterkort Roses?
They have a search on there - Beauty by Oger, Karamel Antike ....

sorry, not much help :eek:face

check out Rustique. Has that "dirty" look to it. Pictures don't do it justice.
You gotta get it in to see for yourself.

Also I vaguely remember one called Mrynas Dream, Pink-ish, but may be to peachy though. But had that Old look as well.

Back in the day....my maids dresses were Dusty Rose. Since that was sooooooooo loooooooong ago, I guess you could now call it fashionably retro. Anyway, I felt obligated to share. This picture of a pink osiana is about right, on the inner petals:

pink osiana are gorgeous though, might not be ugly enough for your bride.

Geraldine - peach tint again,Femma but to me has an oranger color to it,Amsterdam but more salmon color,Moscow/Moscou - has a tint of red to it,Halloween but has more pruple to it - that's all I can think of right now.
