I am Roy Sabo, one of the owners of Sunnyslope Floral in the Grand Rapids MI metro area. We were established as a retail operation in 1975 although we originally were wholesale growers of plants and fresh cut flowers. We are currently in a 15,000 square foot facility serving the entire Grand Rapids- Holland metro area.
Personally, I am a Certified Florist and have also earned Avanced Master Gardener/MSU certification. I have been in the floral business my entire life. Our business has been named MICHIGAN RETAIL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR by the Michigan Retailers Association and we have been selected MICHIGAN RETAIL FLORIST OF THE YEAR by the Michigan Florist Association. We are also members of our local chambers of commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
I am excited to be able to continue learning (one of my passions) from this group!
