I had a hard time to see Monday and tues night show but last night I got to see the final show where Ruben took it all.
What a close call, only 1,385 votes between the, I am glad to see that RCA will do a tape for both Clay and Ruben.
Now to Teen American Idol.
I can't wait to see how those nasty Mom and pops are....

It is amazing how a big quiet guy from our 205 area could cause such a phenomenal reaction across the country. Ruben has done more to help people in Alabama show the nation that the color issue that is perpetuated by the media and Jesse Jackson types is a non-issue here. All colors and nationalities have been pulling for Ruben to be the "American Idol". There has been more celebration here than if the Crimson Tide had won another National Championship!

I haven't watched American Idol faithfully but have seen quite a bit of it. I did not get a chance to see the final show. I love both of the guys, but was hoping a little more for Clay to win. I just like his sound and style better. They are both fantastic though. Very thrilled to see that size did not hinder America being a big girl myself. Wonderful wishes for great singing careers and fulfilled dreams for them both. They are both winners.

A person from town here tried out for Canadian Idol in Toronto, and reported back it more like a cattle call, and the judges weren't nice, and the judges all seemed to wish the people weren't there etc. I'll type up the story from the newspaper when I get the chance.
