The Open House was a big hit! Probably a couple hundred people over the course of the day, but it's hard to gauge.
It was never quiet, though, and people really enjoyed the photo gallery of old B&W photos from the early years. I'll post them in the next couple days.
This was the first year Janis (my wife) had taken over the food duties from my Grandmother. She did NOT disappoint! The treats were awesome and I managed to flex a bit of power and be sure lots of leftovers came home with me
The staff were right on top of their game, greeting people, selling items - and the display arrangements were fantastic! The only hiccup was the annual visit from the crazy lady with her small dog. But, we made it

No deep voice ... but she did have an impressive moustache!
Didn't catch her name ... we were too busy patrolling to be sure she didn't double-dip her crackers or set her dog free in the plush section again
