Hi there. I am going back to school in the fall for Floral Design at Seneca College and would love to join your forum.

Website: sorceressandswordsman.com
Experience: o years
Education: I am a floral design student at Seneca College
Referral: Looked up Florists forums on Google
What do I hope to gain: I hope that by talking to other florists and floral students I can broaden my knowledge to become a better florist and network with other florists in my area.
What do I hope to contribute: I hope that my design background and web design knowledge may be of some use. I hope that I can be of help to other floral design students.
Where do I operate: During the school year I will be doing a work experience study with various florists I would assume in a commercial setting.

Thanks for

Hi and thank you so much for your interest.

First, congratulations on your decision to study floral design at Seneca. You have many adventures lying in front of you.

This forum is for professionals already in the industry. We would be happy to review your application once you have graduated.

Again, enjoy your time at Seneca and learn learn learn and have some fun too.

That's kinda odd, IMHO. Even while in school I will be working at a florists once a week. I was hoping to gain more perspectives then just at school and the shop I'll be working in but oh well. Moved on to a place that welcomes students.

It's not odd really. Flowerchat is full of hard won and hard earned knowledge by an international community of professionals. We don't mind sharing, but reciprocal information is always appreciated. So, when you are a graduate and working within the industry you will be more that welcome to join our ever growing ranks.

I'm glad you found student friendly site! :)
