Sad Day in St. James Mo

My granddaughter wil be a sophmore at the highschool in St. James Mo. We were very fortunate thet she is a jock and was not on the band trip. Today is the funeral of her classmate Jessica Brinker. This is an incredibly difficult time for the entire town and it has touched everyone since so many of the highschoolers were in the band and the bus drivers also live there.

I am sure many of your saw the upended bus on the news, it was such a sad accident on what should have been a happy and fun day for the kids.

Do they have seat belts on school buses now? I used to be amazed when my children rode the bus that they were not mandatory.

What an awful thing to happen to good kids.
