I'm going to the SAF Convention and this is the first one I have ever attended. Will look forward to meeting you there. Happily, I don't have a spouse to drag around or entertain, so I can't offer you advice in that department! Good luck! See ya in September!

Only suggestion I have is...don't talk about the Yellow Pages, deceptive advertising, order gathering or the wire services... they don't want to hear about them... they will listen though on immigration reform and raising taxes...

We won't be going this year. They had the nerve to schedule it at the same time that my first grandkid is expected to be born.

However, did you check out there program this year. I signed up for $14.95 a month for 3 months. I can't remember if it goes up or stays there forever. If it goes up, I'm outta there.
The program looks fantastic. Got a flight for $140. I'm staying with a friend. And a vendor is picking up the registration. The were going to pick up the flight & room, but I asked just for the registration.
So this will HOPEFULLY be the most productive trip I have ever had at a convention. Really looking forward to building the Blog.
I think it is a waste of $$ for the PAC side, but hell, we have to have something but I was paying $1,000 a year when some MUCH larger shops were paying less, but they said it had to due with the length of time involved. Whatever.
p.s. Bloomz and I were talking about meeting that Friday afternoon when everyone is playing golf & Tennis. I don't feel like bringing the clubs and I won the thing years ago in tennis, but only ladies played. Felt like a dick. So he suggested by the pool, but he might want to rethink because after the dumb@@@@istan comment I might just drown his ass. :buttkick
I would prefer the bar :drunk::drunk: but up for anything. We'll most anything. :buymedinn Had to put that, don't know what the hell it is about. But interesting.

I was looking for advice myself, how not to put my foot in my mouth, hoe to make the best of everything offered. I just can't wait
....Does't hurt that I LOVE FLA. and would even LOVE to live there, forever. Hope I see you ....how will I know u? Perhaps we should all tape our Flowerchat names to our nametags.

We aren't going to make it to SAF this year. It's only days before our family trip to NYC to help with the flowers and attend the wedding of Chris Kirshhoffer from Staten Island's Moravian Florist. (Rosie's going to be a Jr. Bridemaid.)
If you can't shoot video, pictures and live blogging will do.

We'll drink a toast to you and Phil at the bar! Enjoy the wedding...we'll meet some day in the near future. I have a webcam on my new laptop, but will have to learn how to use it. I'll try my best not to be in any incriminating photos.
