The new SAF website launched today....

Just an FYI....

1. Don’t challenge or attack others. SAF forums are designed as a vehicle for conversation. That means everyone has a right to have their say. Please keep your posts positive and polite.

Not sure, but I think their forum rule number one is a oxymoron.

Yea Clay....

I was excited with anticipation for the new SAF forums, thinking they could be a vehicle to reform within the industry. But after reading the **rules** of posting...

Most likely I won't bother with it, dang near everything I say could be construed as liable... :>

Whats the point if you can't ask the tough questions, and better yet, the even tougher *follow up* questions....

But I did see a free ISDN Router over there....that'll really help....

Just made my first post on it.

I just make my first post on it;

If the "new" promotion initiative that is attempting to organize an effort to fund a $50,000,000
promotion that could be used for research, education, and promotion of flowers passes.......would this cancel out the SAF PR Fund that does exactly that? If not, why would I want to make voluntary contributions to the PR Fund that has less that 1/10 the funds (and affectiveness?) of this new proposed fund on flowers?

I hope this forum contributes alot to fellow florists and SAF, but I have a problem with Rule Number 1:

1. Don’t challenge or attack others. SAF forums are designed as a vehicle for conversation. That means everyone has a right to have their say. Please keep your posts positive and polite.

Not sure, but I think this is a oxymoron.............whoops, did this post just violate it?

I did get posted without "a review", just wondering who is the the moderator of it over the holiday weekend and who from SAF will answer it. I might be the first one to make the censor list.

SAF Website Problem - 2006/09/03 10:43
Has anybody else had a problem where they could be logged in but a page comes up
“Page is not available unless you are a SAF Member” ? I would post a print screen of the error message with my Member Login-in ....but you would have to SWEAR NOT TO LOOK at my Member Number! No really, I tried sending this message to the "glitch" email link on the home page..... but that message got returned back to me with
Recipient: <[email protected]>
Reason: 5.1.1 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table
