We are a small 5 store grocery store chain in Northern Wisconsin. We have full service floral departments in each store. Each location is a little different, but we do daily delivery, weddings, sympathy work and have large walk-in coolers at 4 of our 5 locations. All design is done by experienced designers (no pre-mades). We also carry an extensive line of home decor, permanent florals, and accessories. As the floral director, I supervise the floral dept. managers at each location. I am the main buyer, although each location does some of it's own buying as well. I don't get to design as often as I would like anymore, but am still called into service at holidays, etc! I know our website is very grocery oriented-we are working on a separate floral website right now (other than the generic FTD link). I work hard to change perceptions about "grocery store florists". Many of our designers have 10-15-25-or even 30 years of experience and most of us have worked in traditional shops. I enjoy the quick pace and the amount of traffic you get in the grocery store. We are well known for our seasonal displays and merchandising. I will post some pics if I can figure out how-I'm finding this site a little difficult to navigate!
