Things just keep getting more and more interesting......

Boss, does it just come to you in the middle of the night to jump up and look up stuff like this? How in the world do you find this stuff?

Heh.... I do run a lot of searches, that's for sure... and I have a whole bunch of folks that funnel things my way, FlowerChat members, other florists, wholesalers and yes even wire service company employees (with these folks one has to be careful they are not trying to use my voice to disseminate dis-information and triple check the "facts").

These two came from another FC member, so I can't take credit for finding them. Perhaps others knew about them, but they were new to me, so I simply ran them up the FC flag pole.

Yeah, really....I believe myself to be an inquisitive sort, but Boss takes it to a whole new level.
But, verrrry intelesting! I can only assume you sent an email, so keep us posted. Interesting about the date of last update following some recent FC chatter.

This page is interesting, especially the wording to the left. It would seem that they are taking an anti-wire service stance.

http://saveaflorist.com/modify.html

Also interesting, I find no mention of SAF on the site, even though it appears that they registered the domain.

Another item: http://www.saveaflorist.com/gettingstarted.html

It looks like they are trying to sell web site templates.

Added: Before we go too far here, let's let Renato speak up, this appears to be in a residential neighborhood.

I gotta get you a plaid two ended cap, and a pipe......
Heh....

Let's hold up here for a minute. While the domain registration looks like it could be SAF, I don't believe it is. I think the SAF used in the domain registration is an acronym for Save-A-Florist....

Google street view of the address associated with the reg is a house that also links to massage.... appears to be another wanna-be industry savior... I mean middleman, I mean non-florist, I mean.......

what I found interesting is that the original site I found was a new albany ohio florist at this addy,
http://www.waysideflowershop.com/
and if you read that sight its anti wire service however if you look at the flowers on their web page they are
wire service pictures and another one I tracked was an arizona shop which definately was teleflora
http://www.tucsonflowerstop.net/
sooooooooo??????

I have met the people, they did a Florida blitz last summer. They own a store in Homossa Springs, Fl and have started a "like FSN" for florist.......$29.95 a month (or it was) or $250.00 a year. (just like FSN). Their marketing model "I rank 5 out of 10", I'm not a computer guy so I don't know where they rank or how they rank. I didn't join.........

I really wish all these aholes would stop trying to "save" us...by taking the orders and redirecting them stripped of all thier profit money...I am so tired of being "saved"..maybe they should just leave that up to the born again Christians, I am starting to think that that is a better route for "saving"

Just received a call from this company (or said so - don't laugh caller ID gave number and listing to Stripe, Candi) but I had emailed regarding the only shop listed in my zip code was a doorway page to TF and he said it must have slipped through the cracks. I told him he may want to check on many listings as TF sets up these doorway pages for unsuspecting shops (most shops don't know they exist). We'll see if my listing gets added and that TF doorway goes away. He did not push for sign up stating they charge for "enhanced listings" (more than one zipcode?) and they were "going after" the mobile minded people and social media types. "Those who have an emergency to order flowers (last minute) and can zap an app on their smart phone and order.
He was sorry for the doorway listing and said he'd take immediate care of it..... and thanked me.... hmmm.....
