Gotta keep this short and sweet but wanted to thank all of you that called and messaged us, before , during and after we lost our beloved Tiki.

The outpouring of love, compassion and support was, and still is, like nothing I've ever lived through.
My, and our thanks to you all, seems so little in comparison to what you have given to us.

It's not the same here anymore and quite honestly difficult to function right now, but many of you have been instrumental in holding this ship together. Again, thank you will never be enough !

May you all prosper this holiday season and enjoy the company of your loved ones.

I thank you all for the friendship, the wisdom, and the opportunity to be a part of this outstanding group.
I believe that I have met some of the finest people in the world here, and will always cherish every minute that was spent.

If I had the presence of mind to upload a few photos I would, but the mind is pretty done these past few days.

Thank you again to all, and Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas

Love, hugs, and wishes of peace, Kevin and all.
You did what you could, you loved Tiki beyond what most would.
Know you did what was needed.

Only TIME will help to ease your PAIN!

I wish there was a MAGIC PILL we could give you to help ease the pain over the loss of your beloved Pet, Tiki.

Alas, the passing of TIME is the only cure for a BROKEN HEART.

Keep the faith and hold onto the GREAT memories you have of TIKI!

If only our beloved Pets lived longer than us!

Then again, and if they did, our death would break their hearts too, and I don't think they are able to handle that as well as we can.

Their UNCONDITIONAL LOVE can only be stretched so far, and then, THEIR HEARTS WOULD BREAK and THEY WOULD FALL even harder than we HUMANS do.

What's really wonderful about THEIR LIVES, is in the question of:

WHO LIVED A LIFE BETTER THAN OUR PETS DID?

Surely, it wasn't anyone in our family, when it came to our BELOVED PRESTON! He got more attention than all the rest of us, ALWAYS!

Taking care of that little PISSER was our family's JOB ONE!

Kevin-
All the best to you and yours.

Pets certainly have a place in our hearts and take a piece of it when they go.
They enrich our lives, give us more than we realize, and we often do not realize,
until they are not there.

My family is still adjusting, after three months. We had to say goodbye to Molly, a terrier mix, 17 + years old. Toughest thing I ever had to do. But, part of loving them is letting them go. Even that is hard to accept sometimes.

Again, sorry for your loss.

Dave

I'm sorry, and hope the thought that your Tiki knew, and continues to know, love beyond what many people and animals have known, is a comfort.

It's been a little over a year since we lost my little baby - my 19 plus year old chihuahua mix Prissy. Even with the rambunctious, hyperactive, chihuahua mix we have now....a boy dog named Ace, He does not and cannot occupy the space in my heart that Prissy had. Your Tiki held a special place in your heart as well. My sincer hugs and thoughts to you.

OH Kevin, I am so so sorry...

I am sure hearts are broken far and wide, but none will compare to yours...You guys loved that dog more than most and he will be missed. Just feel good knowing you did everything you could to make his last months safe, secure and as comfortable as possible. It is more than most ailling dogs get. I am sure Tiki felt that love and took it with him until you meet again. No words will ease this sadness, but know that I sit here crying with you for your loss.
