Not Bloomz but..........
I'm about 80 miles NW of St. Helens. On the May 25th, (second blow) the first time around, we had about 2" of ash covering EVERYTHING. They have now closed down the upper hiking area around the crater and are monitoring the Mountain VERY closely. Quakes are continuous. They predict it is just water reaching the hot rock and vaporizing but have been cautious and the latest thought is magma might be rising. Nothing like the BIG blow is expected but living by a volcano is like being in the flower biz...you never can totally predict the future, you just do the best you can day to day..Ha, Ha.
