I have been busy this Fall.

Several years ago my husband made me two sided sandwich board out of 1by4's. I added 24 by 36 white boards and thought I had a pretty nifty display board.
And then the problems appeared, it was really heavy and hard to carry outside, , I put rollers on it, great idea, it is easier to get outside, but the wind will catch it and it will roll away, sometimes falling over and breaking the white board.
I am a lousy writer on white board, letters cut out on the cricket work, but it is time consuming, the adhesive is expensive, the card stock fades and the letters are not reusable.
And then I started making my own posters, I take my own pictures, use Printmaster to compose the poster, copy the text boxes into Word, save to a PDF file, take to OfficeMax and if the right person is there, have it printed immediately and I am all set. The cost is about $30.00 per 24X36 poster printed on heavy glossy paper.
When I was at OfficeMax the first time, I bought 24X36 poster frames, so I can change out the posters as needed, I also used industrial strength velcro to attach the frames to my sandwich board.
If it is not windy or rainy, I display it close to the street. A little windy or a little rainy on the side walk close to the shop, or I will take it off the stand and put the framed poster in the window. I think it really helped, I doubled my Homecoming corsage and bout sales this year by having a simple sign where people could see it.
Corsage and Wristlet Display
I drink alot of Chrystal Light and have been saving the plastic containers. I found that they are perfect for corsage and wristlet display. I covered with black velveteen using fabric glue.
