Sick with sore throat and still gotta go in!!

This has got to be my least favorite thing about being in biz for myself...I am sick with sore throat and aches and pains, I need rest and can't get any...Got funeral work and need any penny someone wants to throw at me for biz...so can't close up early...

Wish I could just call in and stay under the covers today!!!

There's got to be a better way...

2nd time in 3 years I think I am doing, OK..
Just hate it it is miserable..Thanks, Joe, you got any job openings...I may be ok with a relocate..
 
In the fall last year I had a bad, bad stomach flu and a full order board of funeral work including a casket spray. I had a giant garbage can beside me at the design table.....puke, prune, cut, puke, lay of floor, place a rose, puke, sip gatorade, place another rose. It was horrible. We are troopers to be self-employed, huh?

And get some Vitamin C, and lots of them...

When I was sick, I sucked on Halls Vitamin C drops and took a cocktail of Alkaseltzer medicines.

took me 5 weeks to get better, but I did get better.
 
Sorry you feel bad, hang in there!!! You are right it sucs to be the one who HAS to show up and work.
 
Sending sympathy and hugs to make you better. I too have been ill, really bad head cold and a face blobbed with coldsores so look pretty scary too, keeping through the back!!!
We've just gone through Mothers Day here and my cold started just before but you just keep going and on Sunday night my body gave in, it was my 40th birthday on the Wednesday too so maybe I can now blame it on old age!!!!

as bad as you feel be happy there is something to do. if not you could end up drooling in from of the computer and catch yourself snoring. Been there done that NOT PRETTY
