I am wonder how many of you have a signature Arrangement. An arrangement that you is considered your stores signature arrangement you have on hand, always available. I am trying to come up with a signature arrangement that would appeal to a large audience, be used for a number of occasions and could just be changed up a bit (color wise only maybe) for the different seasons.
If you have one that has been successful, will you post it??

Thanks, Joan

Great question Joan!!!

We don't really have an everyday signature arrangement, but we do have a signature sympathy arrangement. We do a freeform grapevine wreath that has become quite popular. We seem to get calls from random people at the wake asking what it's called & how to order it. Since they start at $125, it's a pretty good signature piece (thank God we didn't pimp out a $50 dish garden for a signature).

This is a great question Joan.

Amy, I love the wreath. One of the first great jobs I got was because an owner saw a grapevine wreath I had made for a funeral. He tracked me down and offered me a job. :) I was happy to accept as I was looking for a change.

We didn't have a signature design either, but often people would ask for "something like..... but make it a bit different".

This is a great question! I do not have a signature design but since this subject has come up twice today, I think someone is trying to tell me something.

This is a difficult thing to decide on. What materials, what type of container, what do you want it to represent? The only problem I see is that all other (local) shops find out and do them too.

Anyone else come up with anything or at least a direction to start from?

We do not have a signature design per se, but many people recognize our work over that of our competitors.

We do have some everyday designs in a variety of price points that we try to keep consistent in size and appearance. We serve many businesses, schools and churchs who regularly send out sunshine gifts and they rely on this consistency - don't want anyone to feel cheated!

I do not have a signature design either, but my flowers and designs definately stand out among the competition....

I really love the grapevine wreath and wonder could I could adapt it for here .The only thing is we don't use easels /stands here and it looks great standing.Actually I love the whole stand up tribute thing .Just wondering Amy do you get the wreath ready made and what mechanics do you use to attach the arrangements and then is it hooked onto the stand ?I never saw one for real .The funeral business is completely different here in Ireland .All the wreaths /tributes are flat based although we have loads of variety and they are left on the grave at the end of the burial. The funerals take place quickly too with it all over in 2 days usually from time of death. This can put us under pressure for flower quantities /colours etc 99% of funerals are Christian still here .Whats the story in Canada Victoria ?Is it the same as the US ?I'd love to know .
Thanks ,
Teresa:)

the wreath is lovely, i do love all white together, when i want something to stand up i usually use the letter stands, like the stands you get with a mum/dad frame etc. you can buy them seperately and for one letter, you can also make the stand quite upright or flatter if you adjust the legs to the opposite way

We use an Oasis foam cage wired to the wreath and cover it with plain foil (to prevent some of the evaporation). I am paranoid, so I wire the wreath to the wooden easel, and then wire the foam cage(s) to the wreath & easel. We make the whole thing standing up.

The less expensive ones have only 1 spray of flowers on the bottom with a few blooms and woven ribbon on the top.

Thank you all for the compliments!!! I personally like the white ones the best, but we do them in all color combinations.
