Has anyone ever done a single stem of phal. or cymb. orchids for a bridal bouquet? Or better yet, do you have any pics?
My co-worker (our marketing director) is getting married next Labor Day weekend. She has found her dress which is kind of Greecian and made of flowing chiffon with some silver beading around across the top. After some discussion, and finding her dress, she has decided to go with something very simple and classic. She loves the color pink, so that's a must have color to use. We're also thinking of using white and green with accents of silver. (the bridesmaid dressed will be either pink or a silverish color). Originally, she was looking at a more modern look using pink, green, and chocolate brown.
I'm thinking topiaries, ivy, potted phal. orchids, etc. I would like to incorporate the greek theme subtly, without getting tacky with it.
I think it's going to be a lot of fun to do. Any suggestions or pictures of past work would be appreciated! It's a lot easier to show a picture to the bride than try to describe something to them.
