Boulder Blooms is the subject of our first site review. Located in Boulder, CO, and using a custom site they are well along the path to creating a special and mature web presence.

Great website. Makes me want to do business with them ; )
I especially like pictures of all the staff, makes it more personable.

what is the purpose of a site review? If that is a stupid question, sorry, I'm more flowers not computers.

Well... in this case it's a gift from Ryan as he assesses the positives and negatives of a given website. Did you look at the site and read his remarks?

As website owners, we're all a little to 'close' to our sites (me included) to really 'see' what visitors and search engines 'see'.

It's like having secret shoppers call or visit your store. They tell you where you excel and where improvement could lead to more sales (and in some cases, lots more sales.)

Honestly, most florists don't want to hear about the opportunities for improvement ~ and avoid reviews because hearing a critique can hurt the ego.

Really, it's like having your design work honestly judged by a national champ - in front of a bunch of other people.

Ryan, being a pro, talks about both the good and the 'try and work on it' aspects of a site. A real pro-tique (instead of just a critique).

OH THIS is GREAT!!! I think it's a fabulous idea...it's ALWAYS a good thing to step back away from your work and evaluate or have others eval. AWESOME!

I'd love a site review but is it for the public's eyes or just our FC community?
The reviews are posted publicly on the Florist SEO blog.

By posting on the blog we are able to give examples that will help the floral community at large, not just the specific shop.

If you want a private, in depth review with a written report, they are available for $1,000 per site.

How do we nominate our site for a public review? At first I did'nt really want to because I did my site myself and I hate rejection of any sort of course. My fragile ego can handle it now I think! I just know that after the review I will need to get off my butt and work on improving it. Improving my website that is, my butts kind of a lost cause.
