Anyone familiar with a product called Snow Real? It's this gelatinous decorative snow stuff that looks, I think, a whole lot like the real thing. I LOVE it, and I've been using it a lot lately to cover blocks of oasis in clear bowls and containers.

I'm wondering if it provides enough moisture for most flowers to be arranged directly into it? I keep meaning to do a test... but I swear, every time I mix up a batch, I find a reason to use the stuff and send it out the door. It's fun.

Oh no!

Just a warning with this stuff, do not put near any drains, or anything of that nature,it will kill your septic system, and dispose of it in a plastic bag, and then put in trash, I am a big fan of this as many other types of this stuff, but after the ordeal , I had over the summer, all it takes a few drops in a sink, and you will have gell snow up the arse,,,Take caution, and it will dry out all flowers that it comes intact with,,,

They do have some new forms of this product, mostly the little balls, that is supposed to be OK for using with florals, doesn't take up all the water. You have to be careful you get the right product tho.

Trish,

It is a bigger pain in the arse, I have a large bucket sitting in one of my rooms, now going on 3 months it has yet to disolve, and the flowers well not work in it as well, I actually talked the man who has came up with all these products, after all the issues over the summer , he is brilliant, love all of these cool things, but hey for flowers, jello is still the best as well as sure jell.

Use it for store decoration to make a Holiday display.
Then Vaccum it upand throw it away after the holidays.

we sell a product called "Snow to go"

It looks like snow, it's cold like snow, it's fun... and yes after what happened to the queen, we are careful not to put it down the drain.

One 8oz can makes 2 gallons of snow.

and I have yet to put it with flowers. I would not put it in the vase and then arrange.. that just doesn't make sense to me to do.
