how much did you get??
Apparently, all the news weathercasts are indicating that the western end of Lake Ontario (right where WE are) got slammed the hardest!!
Been snowblowing & shovelling all day, and more to go, we've got snow piled almost 5 feet in some spots, and the "natural fall" reached over a foot and a half!!

ok i have had enough!

we got a snow then freezing rain close to half inch then switched back to snow, now we have at least a foot and its still coming down. Had funeral work to deliver this morning and that was a treat. Took half hour to get ice of windows , then the Roads!!. plows where not even out yet , but made it there and back in one piece. I have to say i love my Uplander in snow, its awesome.

I just got done shoveling 6 inches of rain drenched heavy as sh it snow...and boy do my shoulders hurt.....me and my bro had to shovel out three cars each a driveway and the front of the house......it sux.....

In St. Louis, Mo we had 7.5 inches, It was beautiful this AM, while I was trying to find my PT cruiser under the snow blanket. It's been a while since we've had such beautiful snow.

ATV was out and pulling sleds and I actually got to do a little cross country skiing this afternoon.

Well we got no snow up North, but got dumped several week ago.
I actually was able to open our ski slopes beside our house, with the amount of snow I blew so far this year.
My wish, no more snow until after christmas when we have more time to work at it. Makes it long long days.

We had about an inch of snow, then a 1/4 inch of freezing rain, and then 4.7 inches of snow. The cities plows did a wonderful job though. The roads were manageable this morning and this afternoon it was no problem.

None

None what so ever,

My thoughts go out to the everyone in the area's with no power, or way to much snow, be safe in all of this mess, and use caution...

Much Great thoughts to all of you...

Got a foot plus here, with 3 foot drifts....

Supposed to be in the mid 30's this week...thats when it'll get ugly!

Bad timing

Let's just say i'm 'lucky' I could walk/crawl/body surf over the snow banks to work this morning. Between last weeks 30cm of snow and yesterdays 45cm, we are barely tall enough to see over the snow banks lining our shop and the city will surely take at least 2 days before removing it. So close to Christmas.... I hope customers that can't park anywhere around here choose to call in their orders instead of going to Costco!!! Here's to hoping..

6-8" lite fluffy stuff on top of the Ice at the end of last week. thanks heavens no blowing and drifting as predicted by the weathermen yesterday.

BAD thing is our plow broke yesterday and no part stores open to get replacement part. So no plowing till today ASAP the part is replaced. :(

Then our LIONS got their hats handed to them by SanDiego. same old same old. Kudos to Brett Farve tho.......

For all that my friends jokingly say I come from the land of ice and snow, we really don't have a tons of snow. A couple feet, nothing serious.

I was stranded in Stratford... ton o snow there.

We have our 5th most snow since 1950, so far 17+ inches by Dec 15, and we had the rain on top of that. Rain for us is quite unusual. This week looks good for getting our orders out.

5-6 cms here then sleet, freezing rain, then rain. Now it's about 5 C and the rain seems to be done. Just a big mess.
Rock on errr, shovel on.......................

I must admit I enjoyed the walks with the 10in dog snow plowing his way through 15in ruts. :) I enjoyed the air, the brilliantly clear night sky reflecting on the snow below... yes all in all it was quite beautiful.
