I hope this is not against the rules here I always see people write WS and not name names but here I go.

My Teleflora bill is well over a thousand pages, do I go through it yes I thought with a fine tooth comb, I take it home at night (which sorta makes me sick) but I still have questions.

It is my understanding that I get charged for a order refusal (have sen the charge on my bill) but do I also get charged for and incoming cancel?
Do I get charged for everysingle CMT, PRC, CAN, I do? I would love it if someone would help me.

Please if you know tell me exactly what is is I get hit with a fee for and what if anything is a freebie. My father and I are in a terrible argument over this (I feel like crud) he won't give in (thinks all these things are 'free') and I will gladly tell him he is right but as I said to him. I don't think he is, and watching what codes we use may save us some $.

I know they make it as hard as possible to really figure this all out so I thought perhaps I could ask here.

Thank you ahead of time for any help you can give!

Dee Dee, the best thing to do is to contact your rep or RVP and have them come in, sit down and discuss every single charge. Tell them what you want in advance, because frankly, they won't know all the answers. Write down the explanation for every charge, and have them sign it as correct. You'll never have this issue again--except for the changes and new charges that seem to show up every single month.

1000 pages???

Really?? Is it delivered by UPS?

What the hell do they list to take up 1000 pages? Is it double sided?

My FTD statement has never been more than 20 or so.

I get billed for refusals from FTD but not from Teleflora. The Teleflora Rep confirmed that the other day when he visited. I would get my Rep in to explain the charges.

This is the first time I have heard someone on here say they DIDN'T get charged from teleflora for a refusal.

I do not go over our statement personally (YET) our book keeper does. She will be showing me very soon.

So now I am confused, does everyone get charged for a refusal from teleflora or just some people???? Anyone know?

Just so that you all know I have been printing this thread and showing my Dad. This morning he told me to "go soak my head" I think I may be getting under his skin more now than b4. I am still hopeing 4 some enlightenment because as I call TF and ask for my Rep. to come in and explain. I understand he will - A. give me the run around....and now - B. May lie to me and say everyone gets charged when in truth they may not. Perhaps I should just go soak my head !!!!

You get charged for a cancellation, but not for a refusal, price change, or inquiry from Teleflora.

Oh my! Things are getting worse! I have seen a charge on my bill for a refusal (many) I have never seen a charge for a cancel.

I have actually sent messages to TF directly (when they ask me to refuse) that say "No I won't refuse the order that you sent as I do not want to be charged for a refusal you can send me a cancel" They then send a cancel, and have never disputed my honest reply.

Yikes! I am now going to get the bucket (for soaking my head) BTW as some of you may know we had a pipe burst here (we are in New England) so right this minute we have no hot water. This will be a FRIGIDLY cold head soaking!!!

However that may make my Dad laugh and then our fight may be over. I may not be posting for a while as I will be in the hospital with pneumonia from this whole event.

Just tell them goodby!

Get everything they say in writing because down the road they'll day they never said it... That's why we dropped both FTD and TF. We refused to do business over the phone. Everything with both wire services had to be put in writing and/or e-mailed. Then they still said... oh, that person didn't have the authority to say that, and then tried to get out of whatever the rep said... just say GOODBY to them!!!

I have just accessed my online TF statement for the month of Sept. it is 21 pages long. No where on it, nor has there ever been a charge for a refusal. No, we do not have any special "arrangements" with them. In Sept. I would guess that I did not fill about 20 orders. Some I forward, some I forward back to the sender and some I just plain refuse. No Charges anywhere on my statement. I do know that I have seen a charge when I have to cancel an order that I have sent out.

When I was a member of Telefloragivememora, I called them up and
asked them if I was being charged a dollar for each time that I
blinked while i was at the computer. I got charged for that question
too.

Dee:
Just looked at my statement, and asked the question of my TF rep also:

Comment, Price adju requests, forwards are NOT charged any $$ at the present time.

Cancels are charged $1.00 per cancel.

You can also request that your rep give you some credit $$ back, and they have to power to do so.

To be on the safe side, just forward an unwanted order -- back to the sender if necessary -- to keep it off your bill.

Are you computerized?

I cannot imagine a TF bill running to 1,000 pages -- something is wrong here.

Thay you Cheryl, Thank you everybody!

I have called my new TF rep. (he is so green - as in new not as in eco friendly) he also thinks my bill should be less pages. He is "looking into that" and checking his schedule to see when he can get down here.

We are in the boonies so the Rep's kinda hate to come out here. Some of you may know here in Massachusetts (the only state dumb enough to put the word As* in their name) there is only one town/city Boston. If you do not live there no one knows you. NOT that I blame them, it's a pain to find anything in this tiny state, we also don't believe in street signs for the most part.

A-n-d people give directions like this - go to where the old Foodmart was then turn, after you go past the old Big Boys turn again, Do you know where the Millers live? turn just after their house. (notice not once did anyone say which direction to turn in)

So sorry I digress, I will march on, but I didn't know the foward thing. This will usually not work for me as I am the olny flowers shop around, but nice to know.

Thank you - Thank you - Thank you

As I understand the protocol...you are charged for the incoming transmission on FTD even if you refuse that order.
I do not believe that Teleflora dings you with that charge, but that was 3 months ago that I called.
And TF reps not visiting is not unique to the boonies...we are at a mall in the midst of suburbia, and I don't think ours has been here but once in 6-7 years!

Dee Dee,

When you look at the statement, you will see the total number of incoming orders you received under "Order Activity Summary."

Now take a look at section "teleflora technologies." You will see something like this...

Dove Orders Received xx @ $1.25

This xx is the number of incoming orders that went though DOVE.

Go back to section 'orders received.' Do you see a bunch of orders with asterisks '*'? They are the ones that went though DOVE. Orders without '*' are the ones that were placed over the phone and you reported later on.

If you look at carefully, they do charge for those non-DOVE orders, too. They are called "order processing fees.'

So, any incoming orders that you filled and reported, either manually or automatically through DOVE, will be taxed at $1.25 per order. Those that you didn't fill (refuse or forward) are not taxed. At least that's my understanding. They do charge for cancel.

FTD is different. They charge you $1.25 for every single order you received, even if you rejected it, as long as you are an FTO member. If you don't want to fill a particular FTD incomign order, the only way to avoid the FTO fee is to forward.

So in a way, FTD is not charging for Reject/Refuse per se. They are charging for receiving orders, regardless of whether the order is accepted or rejected.

Ah, this thread is giving me the warm fuzzies for making the choice to be WS free. I have enough to contend with daily, without adding this nonsense. I'd be havin' a breakdown. Maybe I have a low bs tolerance.

Ha! I was remembering back in the day when I would bring home ftd
and teleflora homework, and how just looking at the statements made
me crazy!! so happy they have been discontinued.
I have a teeny mail box.
Really, though. 1000 or more pages? In a small town?
