Bankruptcy Judge named a new CEO for our mills. Three former mill managers (and overall knowledgable and personable men) have agreed to team (for no fees) to organize our mills for sale. The judge has given them 90 days to get this together. The barricades are gone from the parking lots, the railroad plowed the tracks into the mill yard. The insurances have been reinstated for all workers laid off (or on furlough) and monies have been given to keep mills in warmth and machines taken care of until start up. Although no one is back to work yet, there is some light at the end of the 90 days. There are 4 or 5 companies seeking to purchase our mills. Brand new Top of the line machines and recycle plant remain the key ingredients. Hopefully with even 3 bidders, the sale will fulfill the judge's requirements. We have been very busy with (don't preach) wire ins for anything from hospital, birthday, just to cheer you, and unfortunately many funerals (my great aunt's also). Lots of people calling and using credit card (almost 90%) great to have. Have made it this far, hopefully we can make it another 3 months.
