Well... I am beginning to wonder what I have done wrong lately...??

Went to go home last night and found my bag had been stolen...My whole life is in that bag, Obviously my purse containing a LOT of cards etc that have to be replaced.. about $400, Keys - these are what are worrying me the most, have already changed the shops locks and the locks to my house BUT my car keys are the biggest worrry, I drive a VW and I will have to take it back to the dealership to get the locks changed.. this is going to cost me a FORTUNE, plus I can't do this straight away so in the meantime will have to keep an eye on outside - just incase.

Although I am sure that this Acid drop ( thanks flame) was only after money, it still is unsettling that my personal things are out there in the big bad world.

The other thing that really annoys me is the fact that someone has put something over me - I still can't fathom how this was done ....??

Surround yourself with Protective Light.

I am sorry to hear of this it is upsetting.

Surround yourself with "Protective Light" the extra energy you need to get through this little trial is within you. You will rise above this with ease.

I will send healing, protective thoughts to you. :dearbob:

Been on that bus very recently at a most inopportune time in my life (bigazz medical bills from my acident)

Last month I left a restaurant and know my wallet had fallen out there when I got to the next stop - the video store - went right back and no where to be found.

Only way to look at it was to hope that the busboy that found it maybe had starving children or something, and to hope some good was done with the $700 plus cash that was in it.

The credit cards I didn't give that much worry to.

But re-framing it is the only way to not eat yourself up.

sorry.....

I can sympathize with you having had my purse taken at gunpoint. All the hassel of changing everything and having to have a notary verifly with my charge card company that I had "really" been robbed. And you keep thinking-hey I'm the victim here! I'm sorry you had that happen to you and wish you the best with your recovery.

Oh my God...At gunpoint?? - Hey I am sorry for YOU.. at least I wasn't confronted by this "person" ... I hope you are ok.

I am finding out that it really is a BIG pain... Example: I can't get my Drivers licence replaced unless I have my Birth Certificate AND to get my birth certificate I need to have identification....Needless to say I DON'T HAVE ANY... Arghhhhhhhhh:help:

I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this. Know that there are lots of people that care about you here on FC. Sending good thoughts your way across the miles. Things will get better--promise:tunes:

So sorry this happened to you! I used to have a very bad habit of putting my things on the hood of my car while I loaded the baby and every other darned thing I needed in life. I was at least smart enough to never put the baby on the roof! One night after closing the shop, I returned home and realized I had put the deposit bag and check book on the roof and drove off. This was after a busy holiday. I never recovered the deposit or the check book. This taught me a very valuable lesson.

I watched a TV program some time ago with a "crime buster" telling the audience how foolish women are to carry their entire lives around with them in their pocketbooks. Ever since I watched that program, I changed my bag to a tiny purse. I only carry what I really need. I don't carry a wallet any longer, just small amounts of cash, one credit card and my license. If my purse is ever lost or stolen, I won't have too many heartaches replacing the lost items. Good advice...too many women are walking around in "this big bad world" with their lives in tow just waiting for a nightmare to happen.

Hi my name is jeannie..and I am a hand-bag-aholic !!!!!!!!! :)
Dianne...you have hit the nail on the head there girl!....
It's truly amazing the amount of "junk" that we women-folk tote around..just in case we need it! OY !...(my husband calls my purse the black hole,,,)
Am trying to curb my enthusiasm for all my "stuff" as it is a horrid feeling when it disappears....SUCH a pain in the rear!!!
Good thoughts to oz from canada! chin up...coulda been worse right?

This is so very true. I do carry a bag it keeps things like glasses, business cards, it does house my keys and cell phone. Money, License and credit cards are always in my pocket. I am very bad at leaving my bag places. The coach bag and wallet are worth more than anything in it.

So sorry about the run of bad luck you have been having. Things hve got to get better for you very soon....Good thoughts being sent your way..

First I know how you feel, having had my purse stolen from the trunk of my car (INSIDE). I had taken the dog for a walk in Springbank. I put the purse in the trunk, but brainless wonder that I am, forgot to lock one door.

It was a pain to replace all my I.D. and so on but the worst for me was losing pictures... one of a kind wallet photos.

I had no problem replacing things because I still had my passport.

I hate carrying a purse.

I'm glad you are ok... it will all get resolved and replaced, but you can't be.

This is a good time to remember to make a copy of the fronts and backs of your credit cards, license, medical cards, etc. Just lay them all out on the copier and print. I did this several months before my daughter's car was broken into, and her purse stolen from the trunk. She happened to still be on my medical plan (she had just moved into her own condo) and was carrying one of my credit cards. That medical card, at the time, bore my SS#. We both had to report to the credit card companies and to credit report companies (mental blimp...cannot remember a single name just now). Fraud alerts were placed on both of our records. It created a hassle everytime we wanted to purchase something, but it was worth it to know that we were being protected.

I discovered yesterday that my mom is carrying her Social Security card in her wallet. That was taken care of really fast.

Geebf, you're no whiner, IMHO.

Thanks for all your kind words....I know it DEFINATLY could be worse...There is a TV programme here called " missing persons unit" and while watching this on Tuesday night ( after it happened), my Husband and I did discuss the fact that it could be someone we love that could be missing or taken and that these things that have been taken are only possessions after all....

We must always be careful don't go without "HELP"

Yesterday A very disturbed man came into our store, he was quite hostile, I was able to talk him out the door.

About an hour later I got a phone call from a lady in a travel agency a door away and up a flight of stairs.

She said she "needed me right away", I asked what for?

She said there was a man in her office who would not leave and was really bothering them. (same guy). I told her call the Police. She said she had and it had been over 20 minutes.

I knew he was weird and she sounded desperate.

I knew I did not want to confront him, at the last moment before I went out the door I just looked up and said to the God of my Heart. "HELP".

When I opened the door to the stairway up to the Agency there was Buddy coming down the stairs and he left without a problem.

He started screaming a some kids who I told to get way from him, they split. He then started accousting a Bus that was going by.

I told the Travel Agency people to lock their door, which they did.

Then back to work.

I know he left because of my petition to the Cosmic for "HELP" and protection.

Peace Profound

Doug

Karla I am SO SORRY that this happened to you. You are definately not doing good at all these last couple of weeks. Needless to say though...in the next few weeks all this will be over and you will be going on HOLIDAYS!

Just curious though...where was your handbag?? Reason I ask is that if you put it in the same place every day then someone was watching what you were doing. If not...then it just happend to be a 'passer-by'.

Not too sure either who could have put the 'mochas' on you though.....it happens in 3's....so this is the 3rd time right?? Hopefully it is over for you!
Thinking of you today:):)
