Sometimes you need to cry

The CRUX of THE MEANING OF LIFE!

Great reminder to all of us that, the MEANING OF LIFE is LIFE ITSELF!

God Bless this soldier for making a great sacrifice for our Country, and being able to come come to his son and loved ones.

CRYING is a GOOD THING! It rids the body of toxins!

Might even be the reason that, woman (as a rule) live longer than men since they have the ability to cry more often in Public as that's considered to be more socially acceptable.

Men, on the other hand, are expected to be MACHO, and so, we're not allowed to display our emotions as readily.

Despite the RULES, I always cry at funerals, especially at those when it's a family member or friend, a fallen Marine or Soldier, and our family dog.

Recently, HBO had a great movie entitled "TAKING CHANCE" (home)

It showed a Marine Officer played by Kevin Bacon, who volunteered to take a fellow KIA Marine, LCpl Chance Phelps, home to his family and place of burial.

It was very moving and well worth the watch.

Oh Thom...I wished you would have warned me....that hurts. Tears...I've had to witness that scene too many times in person and watching anyone else go through just brings back those feelings instantly. ok, shaking it off......shaking it off....

That was so sweet. Makes all my stresses seem so stupid and trivial. We all take for granted that our kids get to see both parents every single day (and us as parents getting to spend time with our kids daily). So many people in the service or those that need to travel frequently have such a hardship that I can't even begin to imagine.

I will share this with my team at the flower shop.

I am a Dad,
I am a veteran,
and I thank you.
