Was wondering if anyone was going to Southern Retail this year. I did not go last year and it seems that they are vamping it up this year.

They will be having new design competition for experienced designers, giving away a cruise, having their usual design competitions. Along with 8 different symposiums and 3 hands-on workshops and the trade fair.

My wife and I will be attending for sure. She doesn't like to brag, but I don't mind. Kathie is the Alabama State Designer of the Year and will be representing the Alabama State Florists' Association in the design competition.
This will be our first time to attend and it sounds like it will be a good time to go. From what I gather, they are having it in a much nicer location and are really promoting it this year.
