every time I book weddings that want TONS of spheres to hang on chairs in tress ect.. I say to myself as I am building them am I charging enough??? I no depends on the types of flowers ect. the darn oasis spheres are costly what kinda pricing are you girls and boys getting?? I just meant with a bride that wants 20 shes and all the other brides still want them this year.. I think I made over 300 of them last year between flower girls and pews and tress. I would like to hear what you are getting and what is the best vaule on multipals?? thanks Tracy:hammer:

Hi,
You know the best way to make the spheres is to chop a brick of regular oasis up and shave to a sphere. If you run a doubled chanelle stem up through the center and tie it to a stick it is a cheap alternative to a oasis sphere.
A grande brick works for larger spheres.

For large spheres i wade up chicken wire into the size I want and i water tube the flowers and tie off with a quick twist of wire. You will be amazed how light the sphere will be, excellent for suspension.

As with any sphere that only has to last for one event, Crowning glory the heck out of it.

A hand held pomander I charge $125.
A small sphere for pews $50 to 85, depending.
Large spheres, $150 to $500 (I made three once that were 5 feet in diameter for the inside of a tent wedding, $1500 each, mostly greens.

Either way, you always wonder if you are charging enough.
I hope this helps, good luck!

mmm i have been thinking about this myself lately. I can't help you i am afraid i usually just try to change their mind.

Not done many but would love to see pics and demos.

If i were to do them i would have to charge them quite a bit for the work thats involved, that usually puts them off when i recommend something cheaper.

Thanks ya'll, but as said before, they whip my butt getting them done. Took way more time than should have. Glad the Bride was happy. Thanks again,
your compliment's put a smile on my face.

I think we charged $125 to $150 for the pomanders we did last summer, not too many gals want to go that much for the bridesmaids. One place I worked we did large standing ones using pvc pipe for the stand covered in birch twigs and then put two large oasis cages back to back and dropped the handles down into the tube so the ball was resting on the tube, worked pretty good. I think I remember them being expensive.
