I am so glad winter is over. It was such a glorious day. I hit Salmon Brook River this morning right before sunrise. I was the only one on the river, I suppose I don't know where the best parts are as I am a newbie here. But my new fly rod worked perfectly and the flies I bought from a local proved great. I caught my limit in trout in a little over a hour. I caught 3 young Salmon but had to release. We grilled them this evening, tasty!

I then went with some friends to a private piece of land and played Paint Ball for the first time. What a blast. My friend shot some videos of me in combat and will post it on Youtube this evening. I will post it here later.

So excited that springs here. So excited to get out of the house. I have a couple of events in DC next week so I won't be around after wednesday.

When I lived in Florida I had NO concept of the gratitude I would feel for nice weather after a harsh midwestern winter.
 
Here is my first time out as a Paintball warrior. I am the idiot toward the last running out and getting nailed. I am wearing bluejeans and a grey sweatshirt. Dam that smarted.

Yes Spring is here. Pick a good meal of morel mushroom yesterday.

My daughter has some French recipe with shrooms and chix we are going to try out...

double time on the treadmill.
