Hi all!

I have seen some posts here about what you put up on your shops sign.

We abut a community that is very Irish. Does anyone have anything specifically for St. Pat's that they put up on thier sign? I have not seen one on here before.

I love the punny ones but I will be greatfull to all who can offer help.

Thank you!

I dont bother here with St Patricks day, i think at most balloons may go for the pubs celebrating it but flowers would not move.

Sorry Dee x

We dont sell anything extra for St Patricks Day even though it is a national holiday (Thank God for that as we're usually wrecked after V Day and our Mothers Day falls in March on various dates ! )
But we do dress the shop and like Palms balloons and small stuff like shamrock or daffodils /tulips sell well .
What about " Glad to be Green ! "or "Our Greens are Good for you !"

Iris, do you know anything about past traditions in Ireland that flower shops used to sell for St Patties Day?

I wish I had a photo from a Irish themed party I did years ago, but who takes photos of everything? I used some celtic style aged pottery that I bought and planted red clover seed 3 weeks before the event. I just let it go crazy. I was taken back by the beauty of it. If I remember right it cost an entire 9 dollars to produce. Red Clover is sought after by health nuts for juicing and Clover holds sacred tradition to the Irish on St Patties Day.

Id be happy to share sources if anyone wants to market this idea, I think it would be a great email campaign like RC produces. Here is a thought, you can even tempt considering buyers with the idea of it being a kitchen counter salad garnish mini farm. The clover leaves taste like walnuts and soooo good for you. And what a lovely fresh gift to have at the end of a dark winter!
