stacking cubes

I am tossing around the idea of stacking some 6x6x6 cubes with floating gerbs and lights with gems to use around some reception areas for a budget bride. (bathroom counter, bar, cake, etc) thinking 3 cubes tall.

If I use double stick dots will my cubes stay if they get jostled slightly?

Or is this a BAD IDEA

Stacked glass always makes me nervous, glue or no glue...
I prefer solid pieces.

Hi Kristine,

Well, my opinion is wit rewolf. Aside from the nervousness of stacked glass, there is the added LIKLIHOOD that someone early on will take the sucker apart to have a look at the light. Then, in guilt, they will "put" it back together and that is when the problem will begin. Try it with acrylic.
