I purchased some stainless steel frogs to use in design work, those of when were rented out of an event. They were returned today, they are turning black and several of the prongs are rusting. Does any one have any idea what I can do to clean them and what I could put on them to prevent the rust that would not harm fresh flowers.

Stainless frogs? Really, would like to see a pic...

For cleaning, try some stainless steel cleaner from a restaurant supply, maybe Gordon Foods... if the pins are "rusting" they must be steel, probably have to use emery cloth to clean that up, and maybe coat them with clear fingernail polish...

Thanks Boss. Looked at the box, the base is stainless, not sure about the pins. My husband got it clean, thank goodness.
